- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice adjust to taste
- 1-2 ounces of white rum omit for a non-alcoholic version
- Club soda to top off the drink
- Ice cubes
- Pineapple slices or maraschino cherries for garnish
Method
Gather Your Ingredients:
Ensure you have everything ready. Fresh ingredients will give the best flavor!
Mix the Base:
In a cocktail shaker, combine the pineapple juice, coconut cream, fresh lime juice, and white rum (if using).
Shake It Up:
Add ice cubes to the shaker, filling it about halfway. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until the mixture is well combined and chilled.
Strain and Serve:
Using a strainer, pour the mixture into two glasses filled with ice.
Top Off with Bubbles:
Gently pour club soda over the mixture until each glass is full. This gives the drink its fizz!
