- Ingredients
- For the Lychee Martini:
- 2 oz vodka use gluten-free vodka if needed
- 1 oz lychee liqueur or lychee syrup for a non-alcoholic version
- 1 oz fresh lychee juice you can use canned lychee juice if fresh isn’t available
- Fresh lychee fruit for garnish optional
- Ice cubes
Method
Chill Your Glasses: Start by placing your martini glasses in the freezer to chill while you prepare the cocktail. This step ensures your drink stays cold longer.
Mix the Ingredients:
In a cocktail shaker, add the vodka, lychee liqueur, and fresh lychee juice.
Fill the shaker with ice cubes until it's about halfway full.
Shake It Up:
Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds. This helps to chill and dilute the ingredients, creating a smooth texture.
Strain and Serve:
Remove your glasses from the freezer and use a strainer to pour the mixture into each glass, leaving behind any ice. If you want a smoother drink, double strain to remove pulp.
Garnish and Enjoy:
If you like, garnish with a fresh lychee fruit on a cocktail pick or a slice of lime for a pop of color.
Variations
Lychee Coconut Martini: Substitute half of the vodka with coconut rum for a tropical twist.
Lychee Rose Martini: Add a splash of rose water to give it a floral aroma and flavor.
Non-Alcoholic Lychee Mocktail: Use lychee syrup and soda water instead of vodka and liqueur for a refreshing non-alcoholic drink.
