Method for Creating the Cocktail
Step 1: Prepare the Strawberries
Wash and Hull: Rinse the strawberries under cold water and remove the green tops. Set aside a couple for garnish.
Step 2: Muddle the Strawberries
Muddle: In a shaker, add the fresh strawberries and muddle them gently. You want to break them down a bit to release their juices but not completely puree them.
Step 3: Add the Liquids
Add Ingredients: To the muddled strawberries, add the chocolate syrup, vanilla vodka, cream, and strawberry liqueur.
Step 4: Shake It Up
Shake: Fill the shaker with ice cubes, then shake vigorously for about 15 seconds. This will chill the drink and mix the flavors beautifully.
Step 5: Strain and Serve
Strain: Using a strainer, pour the mixture into chilled cocktail glasses.
Step 6: Garnish
Garnish: Top each drink with a dollop of whipped cream, sprinkle with chocolate shavings, and add a whole strawberry on the rim of the glass for that finishing touch.
Tips and Variations
For a non-alcoholic version: Substitute the vodka and liqueur with sparkling water and a bit more chocolate syrup. This will still keep the fun flavors without the alcohol.
Dairy-Free Option: Use coconut cream instead of regular cream to keep it dairy-free and add a tropical twist.
Make It a Dessert: Pour the cocktail over ice cream for an indulgent dessert.
