Equipment

  • Equipment Needed:
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Jigger or measuring cup
  • Glass (preferably a tall glass)
  • Stirrer or straw

Ingredients

  • Ingredients
  • For the Basic Recipe:
  • 2 oz coconut rum
  • 1 oz peach schnapps
  • 2 oz pineapple juice
  • 2 oz cranberry juice
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Method
  • Gather Ingredients: Start by assembling all your ingredients and equipment. Having everything at hand makes the process smoother.
  • Fill the Shaker: Add a handful of ice cubes to your cocktail shaker. The ice will chill your drink and keep it refreshing.
  • Measure and Pour:
  • Using a jigger, measure 2 oz of coconut rum and pour it into the shaker.
  • Next, add 1 oz of peach schnapps, followed by 2 oz of pineapple juice, and finally, 2 oz of cranberry juice.
  • Shake It Up: Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds. This blends the flavors and chills the drink.
  • Serve: Fill your glass with ice cubes if desired, then strain the cocktail mixture into the glass.
  • Garnish: Top off with fresh mint leaves for an aromatic touch and a splash of color.
  • Enjoy: Sip and enjoy your Caribbean Breeze!
  • Variations
  • Non-Alcoholic Version: Replace the rum and schnapps with coconut-flavored sparkling water or soda and keep the juices. You’ll still enjoy a deliciously fruity drink without the alcohol.
  • Dietary Modifications:
  • For a lower-calorie option, use sugar-free mixers or reduce the amount of juice.
  • If you’re watching your sugar intake, opt for unsweetened cranberry juice and use a lower-sugar rum alternative.
